Shipping & Returns
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — orders over $60 ship free. Orders under $60 are charged a flat shipping rate at checkout.
What's your return policy?
Because our candles and incense are handcrafted in small batches, we're unable to accept returns on used or opened products. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, reach out within 7 days at connect@yemayagracecreations.com and we'll make it right.
Can I cancel or change my order after I've placed it?
If your order hasn't shipped yet, reach out as soon as possible at connect@yemayagracecreations.com and we'll do our best to accommodate changes.
Candle Safety & Burn Time
How long do your candles burn?
Our 12oz candles offer approximately 70 hours of burn time, and our 8oz candles offer approximately 40 hours, when properly maintained.
How do I get the best burn from my candle?
On the first burn, let the candle burn long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface (usually 2-3 hours). This prevents tunneling and helps your candle burn evenly for its full life.
How do I trim the wick?
Trim your wick to ¼ inch before each burn. This helps prevent excess soot, keeps the flame at a safe size, and extends the life of your candle.
Is it safe to leave my candle burning unattended?
No. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and always keep it away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials. Burn on a heat-safe surface.
How long should I burn my candle at one time?
We recommend burning for no more than 3-4 hours at a time to maintain the integrity of the wax and wick.
Ingredients & Allergies
What are your candles made of?
Our candles are made with a soy wax blend, premium fragrance oils, and cotton or wooden wicks. Some collections include phthalate-free fragrance options.
Are your products safe for people with allergies or sensitivities?
While our fragrance oils are carefully selected, we always recommend checking the ingredient list on each product page if you have known sensitivities. If you have a specific concern, feel free to reach out before purchasing at connect@yemayagracecreations.com.
Are your candles non-toxic?
We use clean-burning soy wax blends and avoid harsh additives, but as with any fragranced product, we recommend burning in a well-ventilated space.
Do you offer unscented or fragrance-free options?
No, not at this time.
Incense
How do I use a backflow incense burner?
Place the incense cone on the small platform with the hole, light the tip, let it burn for about 10-15 seconds, then gently blow out the flame. The smoke should begin flowing downward through the burner. Make sure your burner is on a flat, heat-safe surface.
Why isn't the smoke flowing downward on my backflow burner?
This usually happens if there's a draft nearby, the incense cone isn't centered on the hole, or the room is too warm. Try moving it to a still area of the room away from air vents, fans, or open windows.
How long does each incense stick or cone burn?
Our 7 inch incense sticks burn for approximately 25 minutes, our 11 inch incense sticks burn for approximately 55 minutes, and our backflow cones burn for approximately 35 minutes.
Are your incense products safe to use indoors?
Yes, when used properly. Always burn incense on a heat-safe, fireproof surface, away from flammable materials, and in a space with some airflow or ventilation.
Can I use any incense cone with your backflow burners?
We recommend using backflow-specific incense cones (the hollow ones designed for smoke to flow downward). Regular incense cones won't create the waterfall effect.
